Well, spring is on its way, and that brings the migratory birds. It sure is refreshing to hear some new bird songs in the mornings. It’s a hopeful sign of renewal and new beginnings.
In honour of that, I thought I’d dig up some songs with birds in the title. Certainly many of these are not migratory birds, but I don’t think many bands start out with the idea of creating odes to the Arctic tern, which has the world’s largest migration from the Arctic to the Antarctic each year. Whew! The songs on the playlist also travel between definite rockers to ballads and back again.
Here’s to our feathered friends. And, no, they are not drones. 🙂
